My son had his cat chipped in Pittsburgh, PA. Alas, the cat ran out the door and was never seen again…this is a crowded neighborhood…we think he was stolen, so if someone “finds” a cat and wants to see it returned, it will get back to the owner…I think it’s a great idea. But if the person doesn’t really want the cat or dog returned…it probably won’t be.
